Study & Play with Billy

Weekly & Weekend Sessions of

Executive Functioning Coaching,

quiet studying, and Circus Arts.

About

Mind, Body, Heart.

Kids spend a good portion of their day seated. During our 45-120 minute sessions students will activate their bodies and minds as well as do collaborative group activities that help them make new friends. I create an environment in which students learn to identify how they work best and learn to work alongside different types of learners.

Who, Where, When?

I am currently available for weekly or weekend sessions in private homes, schools, and in convenient public spaces (cafes or libraries). I work with students individually, in small groups, and with after-school programs.

What exactly will the kids do?

We will cycle through quiet studious work and circus-arts-based physical activity (juggling, acro-balance, physical comedy, and more). Exact durations for each activity will depend on the individual student needs, the group dynamic, and space available.

Session Examples

45 min. session: 10 mins. circus - 25 mins. studying/homework - 10 mins. circus. OR 10 mins. circus, 35 mins. studying/homework.

60 min. session: 20 min. circus - 40 mins. studying (with the option to do circus for the last 10 minutes).

120 min. session: 30 mins circus. 30 homework/executive functioning coaching, 30 circus, 30 mins. quiet reading.

“What if my kid is…”

I individualize my approach with all students. Whether your student is shy and timid or gregarious and impulsive, I find a way to create a safe and respectful group dynamic that allows everyone to be themselves, have fun, and get to work.

“How would I work with you?”

I am currently available for single sessions and semester-long packages. Prices are dependent on location, number of students and duration of sessions. All kids learn differently. I’m happy to create a package that suits your group/kid’s needs. Let’s talk! billy.j.schultz@gmail.com
