With a background in entertainment, education and project management Billy Schultz has over 15 years experience engaging and delighting audiences of a diverse range of ages, cultures and industries. Whether producing a short video, designing arts education curriculum, or developing a creative vision for audience growth and strategic partnerships, Billy works with a balance of daring and playful invention, attentive collaboration with all parties, and the ability to keep process, details and the big picture in harmony.
Though based in Brooklyn, NY Billy has performed in various theater festivals around the US, as well as in Italy, France, Spain and Germany. Here at home, he’s performed at BAM, the Guggenheim Museum and Webster Hall. As a producer, his comedy dance game show, Dancify That (currently in development for TV) has been called “stunningly creative”, “hilarious”, and “a new form of entertainment”. He’s currently developing two urban intervention projects (for fall 2018) and works for the New Victory Theater, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Brooklyn Arts Exchange, and the Brooklyn Public Library in curriculum development and public engagement.
